Making the March madness Experience accessible to everyone regardless of his or her abilities became a reality in 2000.  The Playing in Peoria Steering Committee plans to make ACCESS 2010 bigger and better again.  Co-sponsoring the events will be the Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association (HISRA), the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools (IARSS), and the March Madness Experience Steering Committee.  Over 200 volunteers from the school regions around Illinois will be joined by HISRA staff and other community volunteers to assist the participants in ACCESS.
