Ameren Celebrates March Madness Banquets
Thursday Before Each State Final
 The Ameren Celebrates March Madness Playing in Peoria Banquets will be held each Thursday night prior to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Boys State Final Basketball Tournaments. They are open to the public. Tickets are $25.00 each. The Class 1A/2A banquet will be held March
6 while the Class 3A/4A banquet will be held March 13.
Players and coaches from each of the Elite Eight teams participating in the respective Boys State Tournaments will be guests of Ameren and the Playing in Peoria Steering Committee. This is the
seventh year the Peoria-based energy company has sponsored the event.
Each banquet begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Pere Marquette. The number of tickets available to the general public will be limited. Tickets may be ordered in advance through
the
IHSA Office, P.O. Box 2715, Bloomington, IL 61702-2715, Phone (309) 663-6377. Tickets purchased in advance will guarantee seating location. If any tickets remain for either banquet, they will be sold at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The program for each banquet includes recognition for the coaches and players from each of the competing teams. A video preview of the Final Four field. An autograph session will follow each banquet.
